Our secret recipe “Saffron Gin” is the epitome of a quality spirit, sharing the recipe of all Hooting Owl London Dry Gins with the addition of steeped saffron to give it an exquisite yet subtle taste.

Tasting Notes

As with all true gins, the taste explosion of Hooting Owl’s Saffron Gin starts with juniper. Complemented by citrus notes of bitter orange and grapefruit, earthiness from mountain ash and turmeric the sweetness found in liquorice and cassia bark, our Saffron Gin is finished with spicy notes of cubeb, cumin and grains of paradise, then steeped with the perfect amount of Persian Saffron. The result is a rich, aromatic, very smooth quality spirit.

Perfect Serve

Serve over ice with a slice of red orange for a fruit sensation. Alternatively serve with a high-quality Indian tonic.
